The section breaks come in as a line return.Ģ. the word column breaks are completely ignored causing the address to run on directly from the title. In InDesign 2 the styles will map as per Quark. in Quark 4.1 I can import this merged word doc - the styles map to the Quark styles and the text flows into pre-linked text boxes (auto text set up on master, all boxes linked) creating as many pages as necessary. A column break between the name and address and word automatically places a section break between records (cards). Next I merge the word doc with the appropriate records from the excel doc, creating a new word doc with all the cards. In word I have a column break after the name and title, followed by the remaining text. I have a technique for setting large numbers of business cards, where the text is merged from excel into a pre-styled word merge document (one card formatted merge entry). ID 2 Mac does not recognise Microsoft Word 2001 column breaks
